Faoi láthair tá sí ag scríobh tráchtas dochtúireachta a dhéanann staidéar ar fhoghraíocht Ghaeilge Thír Chonaill. Tá a taighde bunaithe ar chnuasach ollmhór béaloidis ó Rann na Feirste. Baineann Caitlín sult mór as cur chun na Gaeilge agus theagasc sí in Ollscoil Uladh, Gaelchultúr Teo. agus i gCultúrlann Uí Chanáin. Mhúin sí Gaeilge don fhoireann oibre in an-chuid áiteanna, Institiúid Teicneolaíochta Leitir Ceanainn, Páirc Náisiúnta Ghleann Bheatha, Aonad Cothú na Sláinte, Féile Ealaíne an Eargail agus Comhairle Chondae Dhún na nGall san áireamh. Ar na mallaibh chríochnaigh Caitlín cúrsa a thug deis do thuismitheoirí Ghaelscoil Adhamhnáin a gcuid Gaeilge a fhorbairt agus a fheabhsú.
